Enamel Jewellery

Overview of Techniques involved

1. Sourcing and Transporting raw materials

  • Metal, Enammel
  • Various hand tools and instruments
  • Trims and accessories

2. Design Sketching

  • The outline is drawn to based on which the design is prepared.
  • Simultaneously the final design drawign is also prepared.
  • Once the gold or silver is melted, this is poured into a sheet mold so that this can be molded into a small bar.

3. Engraving

  • The area where the enammeling is to be donw is hand engraved.

4. Enammeling

  • The engraved area is then filled with the enamel .

5. Firing and re enammeling

  • After firing the first color the consequent colors are filled one by one in the same format.

6. Finishing

  • Once all the colors are done filled the surface is then finished.

7. Polishing

  • The surface is then polished.

8. Assembling

  • The trims if any are then attached to finish the product.
